Rodrigo Garro and Kaio César picked up their third yellow cards of the season against Internacional and will miss Corinthians' October 11 league match against Palmeiras.
Corinthians lost 2-1 to Internacional on October 7. Garro was booked in the second half for a sliding challenge on Internacional midfielder Rodrigo Villagra. The Argentine had made a costly mistake shortly before Internacional scored its second goal.
Kaio César received his yellow card in the first half for a foul on defender Alexandro Bernabei. Eleven Corinthians players had been at risk of suspension before the match, but the other nine avoided bookings.
The derby is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. local time on Sunday, October 11, at Nubank Parque in São Paulo. Corinthians remain on 32 points after a seventh straight league defeat.
