The Delhi wing of the BJP’s Mahila Morcha protested near Congress headquarters and demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi over allegations involving women police officers.
Protesters gathered near the Andhra Bhawan junction and marched towards the Congress office at Indira Bhawan. The action was led by Yogita Singh, the Delhi BJP general secretary. The BJP raised the allegations after protests on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Singh said disagreement was part of democracy but alleged that disrespecting women police personnel was unacceptable. Aarti Mehra, who is in charge of the Mahila Morcha, also called on Gandhi and the Congress to apologise.
