Railway official inspects stations and safety facilities in Andhra Pradesh

Lalit Bohra, divisional railway manager for Visakhapatnam, inspected Ichchapuram and Palasa stations in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district. He reviewed passenger amenities, infrastructure, staff facilities and key safety assets.

The day-long inspection began at Ichchapuram station and the adjoining railway colony. Bohra assessed the station and basic services for passengers and railway families living in the colony.

At Palasa, the inspection covered the station, the local railway colony and several operational facilities. The itinerary also included the Railway Hospital, Railway Protection Force barracks, the running room for train crews and Level Crossing Gate No. 362.

The Hindu said the inspection focused on passenger amenities, staff welfare, infrastructure upkeep and overall safety. The report did not say that any violations were found or that orders were issued after the visit.
