Dynamo Moscow win first Russian rugby championship

Dynamo Moscow won their first Russian rugby championship, defeating Kazan's Strela-Ak Bars 26-20 in the final.

The deciding match was played in Moscow on October 18. The Russian Rugby Federation confirmed the home side's victory and first championship title.

The same clubs had also met in the previous year's final. Dynamo lost that match 30-32 but overcame their rivals in this year's contest for the championship.
