Eric Garcia out for weeks as Kounde misses PSG match

Barcelona defender Eric Garcia will be out for three to four weeks with a right thigh injury. Jules Kounde has injured his left ankle and will miss the match against PSG, the club said.

Garcia has a rectus femoris muscle injury in his right thigh. Kounde has a left ankle sprain, and his availability for the upcoming match against Real Madrid will depend on his recovery.

Both defenders played in Saturday's 5–2 away win over Betis. Kounde completed the match, while Garcia came on after halftime and scored.

Barcelona visit Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on 20 October. They host Real Madrid in the Spanish league on 25 October.
