Fribourg’s first two goals came on the power play. Henrik Borgström and Marcus Sörensen then scored 105 seconds apart, putting the hosts firmly in control.
Ajoie scored twice in the middle period, but Lucas Hedlund found the net between those goals for his first National League goal. Fribourg took a 5-2 lead into the second intermission.
Borgström and Christoph Bertschy added goals in the third period, each completing a brace. SRF reported that Ajoie have gone nine games without earning a point against Fribourg-Gottéron.
