Russian figure skater Gleb Lutfullin scored 95.79 points to finish second after the short program at the Denis Ten Memorial in Almaty.

Lutfullin performed a quadruple flip, a triple Axel and a quadruple Salchow-triple toe loop combination. Judges deducted points for the quality of his quadruple flip. Two spins and the step sequence received Level 4, while another spin was rated Level 2.

The official results list the Russian skater with 95.79 points in second place. Vladislav Dikidzhi led the field after the short program with 107.31 points.

The men’s short program took place in Almaty on October 8. The Denis Ten Memorial runs from October 7 to 11, with the men’s free skate scheduled for October 10.
