Bloomsbury adds McGonagall and Weasley twins to Pocket Potters series

Bloomsbury Publishing will release illustrated books about Minerva McGonagall and Fred and George Weasley in February 2027. The titles will expand the Pocket Potters line based on characters from the Harry Potter world.
Pocket Potters: Fred and George, illustrated by Helen Brady, will cover the brothers’ school pranks, inventions and the creation of Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes in Diagon Alley. The publisher’s description also mentions their departure from Hogwarts and fictional products such as Puking Pastilles and Extendable Ears.
The second book, Pocket Potters: McGonagall, illustrated by Natalie Smillie, will focus on the Hogwarts professor. Topics include her role as Head of Gryffindor, her ability to transform into a tabby cat, her Transfiguration lessons and her relationships with Harry and other teachers.
Bloomsbury says the series is aimed primarily at younger readers. The compact books collect illustrations, quotations and key moments from the stories. Earlier Pocket Potters editions featured Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Professor Dumbledore and Luna Lovegood.
