Henderson and Joao Pedro doubles lift Chelsea past Bournemouth

Chelsea beat Bournemouth 5-1 in the sixth round of the Premier League on October 10. Jordan Henderson and Joao Pedro each scored twice as the London side ended a three-match winless run.
The hosts took control early at Stamford Bridge. Henderson opened the scoring in the second minute and supplied the assist for Morgan Rogers to score in the third. Chelsea carried that two-goal advantage into half-time.
Joao Pedro extended the lead in the 46th minute, immediately after the restart. Evanilson replied in the 51st, but Bournemouth could not build on that goal. Joao Pedro completed his double in the 67th minute, before Henderson rounded off the scoring with a free-kick in the 70th.
Chelsea's official website and Sky Sports confirmed the result. The Premier League said the victory moved the London club into fifth place in the table. Chelsea reached 10 points, while Bournemouth remained on 3 points and without a league win.
