July average wages exceeded 100,000 roubles in 22 Russian regions

Average monthly wages in July 2026 topped 100,000 roubles in 22 Russian regions, according to RIA Novosti's analysis of Rosstat figures reported on October 10.
Chukotka and Magadan Oblast recorded the highest averages, above 200,000 roubles. Five other regions exceeded 150,000 roubles, including Moscow, Kamchatka Krai and Sakhalin Oblast. In the remaining fifteen regions in the group, the figure ranged from 100,000 to 150,000 roubles.
Across Russia, the average accrued monthly wage in July was approximately 109,500 roubles. The measure includes bonuses and is calculated before tax deductions. It also includes the pay of very high earners alongside other employees, so it does not show how much every worker actually receives. The regional thresholds describe averages rather than minimum salaries.
