Viktor Drobysh explains why his Dynamo anthem remains unfinished

Composer Viktor Drobysh told RIA Novosti on 10 October that he had repeatedly tried to write an anthem for Moscow hockey club Dynamo but was dissatisfied with the results. He previously wrote the music for football club Spartak's official anthem.
Drobysh said he supports Dynamo, sits on the club's council and plays hockey himself. Acquaintances have questioned why the author of a song sung at Spartak matches has not produced an anthem for his favourite team. He explained that he had worked on music, but the versions did not meet his conception of an anthem.
He wants a powerful composition that goes beyond an ordinary song and will not present a disappointing version simply to claim he has written an anthem. Drobysh composed the music for Moscow's Spartak in 2010. Roman Emelyanov wrote the words, and rock musician and Spartak supporter Valery Kipelov was among the performers.
