Khimki reports completed major repair work at 106 properties

Major repair work in different categories has been completed at 106 scheduled properties in the Khimki urban district. Gas equipment was upgraded in 96 residential buildings, the district administration said.
The 2026 programme covers roofs and facades, building utility systems and replacement lifts. Work is taking place in Old and New Khimki, Podrezkovo, Skhodnya and Levoberezhny.
The scope depends on each building’s condition. Some properties receive targeted repairs, while others undergo comprehensive upgrades to their utilities and equipment. The Moscow Region’s Major Repairs Fund is responsible for implementing the programme.
According to the administration, quality is checked throughout the work. Specialists and representatives of the public participate in the acceptance of completed projects.
City services are giving particular attention to properties where work started late. They are working with the fund and contractors to meet deadlines. The administration did not provide the programme’s total number of properties or a list of delayed projects.
