Koksharov says he is rebuilding fitness at Fakel after injury

Fakel striker Aleksandr Koksharov says he is gradually recovering his match fitness after a lengthy injury absence. He discussed his adjustment to the Voronezh club in a Sport-Express interview published on October 14.
The forward said he now feels well and believes his performances are improving from one match to the next. He acknowledged that the extended spell without playing had affected his condition.
Koksharov has represented Fakel on loan since September 2026, with his playing rights belonging to Krasnodar. At the time of publication, the 21-year-old had made four Russian Premier League appearances for the Voronezh side and scored 1 goal.
He also confirmed that a move to Portugal had been an option, but declined to explain why it did not happen. His stated priorities at Fakel are to play more matches, produce his best football and contribute goals.
