Koretskyi says Ukraine's government has met its aid commitments

Ukraine's government has completed its share of commitments required for international financial assistance in 2026, Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi said on October 15.
Koretskyi said the cabinet had finished adopting the necessary resolutions, orders and procedural documents. He announced the development on Telegram.
The prime minister previously put the gap in funding for military spending in 2026 at twenty-seven billion dollars. Ukraine expected to find around seven billion through budget reallocations and spending cuts, while seeking the remaining twenty billion from partners.
The government identifies submission of requests to the European Commission as the next step. Approval procedures involving EU member states must then be completed before Ukraine can receive the funds.
