Tarkett and four other manufacturers’ Russian assets placed under temporary management

Vladimir Putin placed the Russian assets of Tarkett and four other manufacturers under the temporary management of Centre Capital Management Company in a decree dated October 15.
The list includes assets of Tarkett, Kappa Rus, Ontex RU, Menshen Packaging CIS and Eviosys Packaging Kuban. RBC reported that decree No. 738 was published on Russia's official legal information portal.
Kappa Rus produces paper packaging. Its revenue reached 16.5 billion roubles in 2025, according to SPARK figures cited by Interfax. The company belonged to Ireland's Smurfit Kappa Group until 2023, when the Russian business was sold to management through Sverige International Holdings AB.
The 2023 transaction covered four plants: three in the Leningrad region and one in Moscow. Under its new owner, Kappa Rus also acquired the Okulovka paper mill in the Novgorod region.
Ontex RU is linked to international personal hygiene manufacturer Ontex. Interfax cited SPARK data putting the Russian company's revenue at 10.3 billion roubles in 2025.
Eviosys Packaging Kuban makes food packaging from light metals. Its revenue was 6.1 billion roubles in 2025, according to the figures cited by the agency. Packaging manufacturer Menshen Packaging CIS, owned by Germany's Menshen Beteiligungs-GmbH, recorded approximately 1.4 billion roubles.
The decree gives the management company's name without additional identifiers. Interfax found two active companies with that name in Russia's corporate register: one established in Moscow in 2026 and another registered in Kazan in 2013 that manages investment funds.
