Two people were injured in drone-related attacks in Russia's Kursk region, Governor Alexander Khinshtein said. A woman was hurt in Rylsk district and a man in Zolotukhino district.

In the settlement named after Kuibyshev, a 56-year-old woman suffered acoustic barotrauma and a head injury. Interfax previously reported, citing the governor, that a drone struck a sugar factory site on October 17. The woman received medical assistance.

The other incident took place in Bely Kolodez. Khinshtein said a 49-year-old man stepped on an explosive device dropped from a drone while heading to his country property, according to a TASS report on October 17. He suffered a partial amputation of his left foot and was hospitalised in Kursk.

In the report published on October 18, the governor also said houses, cars and an administrative building had been damaged in Rylsk and Belovo districts.
