Two men injured in separate incidents in Russia’s Kursk region

Governor Alexander Khinshtein reported two injuries on October 10, one from an exploding munition and the other following a drone strike.
A 23-year-old man in the Tim district found a munition and tried to open it, the governor said. The resulting explosion severed his right hand and caused shrapnel injuries to his chest and left arm.
In the settlement of Belaya, a 40-year-old man was injured when a Ukrainian drone struck a shopping centre, according to Khinshtein.
The governor said that man suffered blast injuries, shrapnel wounds to the left side of his neck and head injuries. Both men received first aid and were to be admitted to Kursk Regional Hospital.
