Lithuania lifts air alert after unidentified object detected
Lithuania lifted an air alert issued on Sunday morning after an unidentified object entered its airspace. Crisis centre head Vilmantas Vitkauskas told LRT it may have been a drone.
A red alert was issued in central and northern parts of the country, and residents were told to seek shelter. Kaunas airport was temporarily closed.
Vitkauskas said the object was moving north and had been tracked toward Latvia.
