Lviv officials report interception of jet-powered drone near the city

Ukrainian officials reported a Russian jet-powered drone entering Lviv on October 10 before being shot down nearby, the first known such flight over the city.
Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported its entry at 7:23 a.m. Regional administration head Maksym Kozytskyi said it was destroyed, with no casualties or damage reported initially.
Lenta.ru, citing RT, described a Geran drone and gave claimed Geran-5 specifications of up to 600 kilometres per hour and nine kilometres altitude.
These figures concern the model described in the Russian report. Ukrainian officials confirmed a jet-powered target but did not identify its particular variant.
