Man dies at military collection point in Ukraine's Poltava region
A man born in 1978 died at a collection point in Ukraine's Poltava region while awaiting transfer to a military unit, the regional recruitment centre said.
The centre said he had been brought there because he was wanted. He became unwell and lost consciousness. The duty officer called an ambulance, but medical staff pronounced him dead.
The recruitment centre gave acute heart failure as the preliminary cause and said law enforcement officers had found no signs of violence during their initial investigative work.
The investigation is continuing. The regional recruitment centre and its Kremenchuk district branch said they were cooperating with law enforcement.
