Sturm say Daniil Khudyakov's surgery was successful

Sturm Graz goalkeeper Daniil Khudyakov has undergone successful surgery after breaking his leg in the derby against GAK, the Austrian club's press service told TASS.

Khudyakov was injured during Sunday's Austrian league match, which Sturm won 6–1. The goalkeeper was taken off on a stretcher.

A team doctor performed the operation, the club's representative said. Sturm expect the player to make a full recovery.

In the 2026/27 season, Khudyakov has made eight Austrian league appearances, four in Champions League qualifying and two in the Europa League main phase.

The Russian joined Sturm in summer 2024 and won the Austrian championship with the club in the 2024/25 season.
