Media report possible plan to take Kashpirovsky’s body to Ukraine

Anatoly Kashpirovsky’s body was taken toward the Russian-Ukrainian border after a farewell ceremony in Moscow. Possible burial in Vinnytsia and the transport route have not been officially confirmed.

The Telegram channel SHOT reported the transportation. It said the psychotherapist and hypnotist may be buried in Vinnytsia, where he had reportedly wished to be laid to rest. Reports have named several possible routes, through Poland and other EU countries or through Armenia, Georgia or Moldova. None has been officially confirmed.

The Mash channel previously reported that transporting the zinc coffin could cost his relatives about 2.5 million rubles. That figure has likewise appeared only in media reports.

Kashpirovsky died on October 3 at the age of 87. Media reports said he had cancer and diabetes. His farewell ceremony took place on October 8 at Moscow’s Troekurovskoye Cemetery.
