Moscow playgrounds add magnetic mazes and learning panels

Playgrounds in several Moscow districts have gained magnetic mazes, abacuses and other learning elements. The city's municipal services complex reported the courtyard improvements on October 9, according to RIA Novosti.

A circular table with a magnetic maze beneath a transparent dome was installed near the Neva cultural center in the north. Children can move metal balls along colored tracks using external handles and mechanisms. An interactive mathematics panel with spirals, number tracks and graphic elements stands nearby.

On Oleniy Val in the east, a separate area for younger children includes abacus and Russian alphabet panels, alongside spring riders shaped like a horse and vintage car.

On Bolshiye Kamenshchiki in the center, a miniature play complex has a gently sloping plastic slide, steps and built-in learning modules, including a colorful musical xylophone.

On Nagatinskaya in the south, a multilevel play structure includes a maze and separate learning elements. Swings, spring riders, a balance apparatus, two roundabouts and a sandpit complete the playground.

Courtyard renovations also incorporate easels, tactile panels and gears. City officials associate the elements with developing fine motor skills, logical thinking and coordination.
