Moscow renews paving and lighting on Maly Predtechensky Lane

Moscow has renewed Maly Predtechensky Lane in the Presnensky district, the mayor’s office reported on October 16.
Workers laid 1,000 square metres of asphalt on the pavements. They also replaced 1,400 square metres of road surfacing and renewed the road markings, according to the city government.
Fences were installed to separate pedestrian areas from the carriageway. The work also included restoring 360 square metres of lawn.
Additional energy-efficient lights were installed along the lane. Almost 400 metres of new underground cable ducts accommodated wires previously suspended overhead. The mayor’s office said the change preserved the street’s historic appearance while modernising outdoor lighting.
Although city authorities announced that the lane’s renewal was complete, their report said road signs would be installed at the final stage of the work.
