Lukashenko promises his accordion to beekeeper in Vitebsk region

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko ordered his accordion to be given to beekeeper Sergey Shimansky after meeting him in Vitebsk region on October 16, the presidential press service said.
The meeting took place at the Krasny Bor tourism complex in Verkhnedvinsk district during a presidential working visit. Discussions covered tourism and agriculture in northern Belarus, and Lukashenko sampled local honey.
Shimansky has worked at the complex since 2015 and plays the accordion. He performed two pieces for the president and described himself as largely self-taught, although he began learning in second grade.
Lukashenko said he now rarely played and promised Shimansky his larger five-row instrument. The press service reported an order to transfer the accordion to the beekeeper.
