Moscow reports more than 3.7 million square metres of completed property in third quarter

Moscow completed more than 3.7 million square metres of property in July–September 2026, Deputy Mayor Vladimir Yefimov said. Apartment buildings accounted for 2.3 million square metres of the total.

The overall figure also includes social, administrative, commercial and industrial facilities. Construction was financed through the city budget and non-budget sources.

Investors delivered more than 2.6 million square metres of property. Around 256 thousand square metres of that total consisted of education facilities, according to the city’s construction complex.

Completed projects included an education complex with a rooftop terrace in Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo and a new Kurchatov School building for 815 pupils.

Yefimov also cited a central production kitchen opened in August with capacity for up to 100 tonnes of food a day. The project created 530 jobs.
