Moscow's VDNKh station records 41% of monthly rainfall norm by October 15

Moscow's VDNKh weather station recorded 29 millimetres of precipitation from the start of October, or 41% of the monthly norm, Phobos forecaster Mikhail Leus said. Seven millimetres fell overnight into October 15.
Krasnogorsk, Nemchinovka and the Podmoskovnaya station recorded 13 millimetres each, while Voskresensk recorded 14. These figures cover the preceding night rather than the month to date.
Leus said the area of intense rain had moved north out of the Moscow region. His morning forecast still allowed for local light rain during the remainder of October 15 and the following night.
He forecast warm, dry weather in Moscow on October 16 and 17, with further rain accompanying a cold front on Sunday, October 18.
