Forecaster expects Moscow cooling from October 14

Moscow is expected to shift to cooler autumn weather from Wednesday, October 14, after several temperature swings, Phobos weather specialist Mikhail Leus forecast on October 9.
The VDNKh station reached 17.5 degrees Celsius by 15:00 Friday, making it the month's warmest day so far, according to Leus. He forecast brief rain and daytime temperatures of 10–12 degrees on Saturday, followed by 12–14 on Sunday.
A warm front is expected overnight into Monday, with locally heavy rain potentially reaching a quarter of October's average precipitation. Monday could reach 15–17 degrees, followed by 14–16 on Tuesday.
Wednesday's maximum may only slightly exceed 10 degrees. Leus expects the following 7–10 days to bring nighttime temperatures of 2–7 degrees and daytime highs of 8–13. These are forecasts rather than recorded observations.
