Mpox confirmed in five hospitalized patients in St Petersburg

Mpox has been confirmed in five patients in St Petersburg, Botkin Hospital told RIA Novosti and Interfax on October 19.

The patients had previously been admitted with suspected infections.

All five patients are in stable condition, the hospital said. Their illness is mild or moderate in severity.
