Okko files 84 million rouble claim against Match TV legal entity

Streaming service Okko has filed a claim for 84 million roubles against National Sports Television LLC, Match TV’s legal entity. The Moscow Arbitration Court received the filing on October 8, RIA Novosti reported on October 14.
At the time of the report, the claim had not yet been accepted for consideration. The available materials did not disclose the basis for the financial demand. Registration of a filing does not mean the court has upheld it.
Okko also asked to involve Telesport Group as a third party. The company, previously active in rights to broadcast major sporting competitions, is undergoing bankruptcy proceedings.
Kommersant corroborated the amount and parties named in the new claim. It recalled that Okko and Telesport had previously disputed performance of a Euro 2024 broadcasting contract.
That earlier dispute is a separate proceeding. Until the basis of the new filing is disclosed, the demand cannot be attributed to a specific rights violation or treated as an established debt.
