Pegula and Gauff qualify for WTA Finals

Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff have secured places at the season-ending WTA Finals, the Women’s Tennis Association announced on October 14.
The tournament takes place in Indian Wells, California, from November 8 to 15. Eight players will compete in singles, leaving two places still available after the Americans’ qualification.
They join Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina, Belarus’s Aryna Sabalenka, Russia’s Mirra Andreeva and the Czech Republic’s Linda Noskova. Pegula and Gauff will each appear at the season-ending event for the fifth consecutive year.
Pegula, 32, won titles in Dubai and Charleston this season. Gauff, 22, claimed her only title of the season in Cincinnati. Gauff is also a former WTA Finals champion, having won the tournament in 2024.
