Pogosov double gives Torpedo away win over Leningradets

Torpedo Moscow beat Leningradets 3:1 away in the 13th round of Russia’s First League, with Artyom Pogosov scoring twice for the visitors.
The game took place in Roshchino in the Leningrad region. Jonathan Okoronkwo put the Moscow club ahead in the third minute before Pogosov extended the lead in the twentieth. The visitors reached half-time with a 2:0 advantage.
Roman Kudryavtsev pulled a goal back for Leningradets in the fifty-third minute. Pogosov then scored again in the sixty-second minute to establish the final margin. Torpedo’s official website confirmed the result.
According to RIA Novosti, Torpedo had 24 points after the match and stood fourth in the table. Leningradets occupied fourteenth place with 13 points.
In the fourteenth round, Torpedo will visit Yenisey in Krasnoyarsk on October 17. Leningradets will travel to Kostroma to face Spartak that same day.
