Police disclose ages of children killed in Oregon school shooting

Three children aged five, eight and eleven and a teacher were killed at Silver Rail Elementary in Bend, Oregon, Police Chief Mike Krantz said. The shooting took place on October fifteen.

Police confirmed that the attacker was sixteen. Krantz said a witness followed the suspect into the school and shot him. Officers found the teenager dead inside the building.

The first emergency call came at twelve fifty-nine p.m. local time from a person in a vehicle who reported being shot at several times. Calls then came from inside the school, UPI reported, citing the police news conference.

The first officers arrived at one oh two p.m. After entering, they evacuated people and gave emergency aid to those injured. Krantz said the victims' families had been notified.
