Organizers of the 23rd Radiant Angel International Charity Film Festival have selected 156 films from 10 countries for the shortlist. The festival will run in Moscow from Oct. 31 to Nov. 6.
The selection includes works from Russia, China, Switzerland, Canada, Malaysia, Iran, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Italy, organizers told reporters.
Screenings and festival events will take place at Moscow’s Poklonka cinema. Admission will be free with advance registration, which opens on Oct. 15 through Timepad and the festival website.
The festival is organized by the Foundation for Social and Cultural Initiatives with the Pokrov Center for Spiritual and Moral Culture and partners. Organizers say it aims to support filmmakers and broaden access to Russian and international films that promote kindness, mercy and compassion.
