Reports link British K3 Scout naval drones to Ukrainian strikes on Sochi

Ukraine used British-made K3 Scout uncrewed boats in strikes on Sochi, RIA Novosti reported, citing The Times. Intelligence Online separately reported their use in September.
RIA's October 15 account of The Times report, which cited sources, said Britain had bought 20 boats. It did not specify how many had been supplied to Ukraine.
In an October 15 report, Intelligence Online said at least eight Kraken naval drones had been deployed to Ukraine's domestic intelligence agency. The publication linked the craft to September strikes on Sochi and reported testing in the Black Sea with support from British operators.
Specifications published by Kraken put the K3 Scout's maximum speed at 50–55 knots and its payload capacity at 600 kilograms. The stated range of 650 nautical miles, approximately 1,200 kilometers, applies at a speed of 25 knots.
