Russian airlines carry more than 80 million passengers so far this year

Russian airlines have carried more than 80 million passengers so far this year, Federal Air Transport Agency chief Dmitry Yadrov told the State Duma.

Yadrov said carriers continued to operate steadily despite the challenges they had faced over the past four years.

Russian airlines carried nearly 109 million passengers over the whole of last year, he said.
