Sevastopol lifts fuel purchase volume limits
Sevastopol lifted limits on the amount of fuel motorists can buy from midnight on October 19, Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev told a city government meeting, saying supply logistics had largely stabilized.
Demand increased for AI-92 and AI-95 petrol and standard diesel sold at no more than 100 roubles per litre. Some filling stations ran out of those fuels by lunchtime after the limits were removed.
Razvozhayev said new shipments were already being delivered to the stations. He described available stocks as sufficient for sales in the near term and said he hoped the improved supply arrangements would continue.
