Sevastopol to remove fuel purchase QR codes from October 16

Sevastopol will remove QR-code requirements for fuel purchases from October 16, Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said. Petrol will be available without the codes when in stock, but quantity limits remain for reduced-price fuel.
In his October 15 announcement, Razvozhayev said TES would offer AI-92 and AI-95 petrol and diesel at the reduced price. Filling portable cans at those stations has a separate twenty-litre limit.
At Atan, the reduced price and twenty-litre limit apply to AI-95 petrol. Removing QR codes does not remove the quantity restrictions for those sales.
Sevastopol introduced sales restrictions on May 22 because of logistical difficulties. The QR-code system began in early June. Unrestricted sales resumed at Atan and TES on August 4, but QR codes returned on August 11 for non-premium fuel sold at reduced prices.
