State Duma to consider government nominees on October 21
Russia's State Duma will consider nominees for government posts at a plenary session on October 21, speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said.
Before the plenary session, the nominees are due to meet parliamentary parties and undergo review by the relevant committees. The schedule follows an extraordinary Duma Council meeting called to set the procedure for considering Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin's candidates.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the current deputy prime ministers would continue performing their duties until the relevant presidential decrees are issued.
