Stavropol repair fund reports incorrect arrears in residents' bills

Some Stavropol residents received incorrect building repair contribution bills in October. The regional repair fund attributed the errors to a software failure during a change of payment agent.

The affected documents cover September. Arrears or owner details may have been displayed incorrectly, and the fund said some amounts did not match the actual account balances.

From October 1, the Unified Settlement Centre began preparing and delivering bills instead of the Stavropol City Settlement Centre. Regional outlets, citing the fund, reported that the errors arose during the transition.

The fund advised residents with incorrect bills to calculate their payment using the minimum contribution set for 2026. The rate is 18.17 roubles per square metre for buildings without lifts and 19.17 for buildings with lifts.

The current contribution is calculated by multiplying the applicable rate by the property's area. These are existing minimum rates, rather than a new increase announced because of the software failure.
