Talalaev points to missed chances after Baltika draw with Akhmat
Baltika coach Andrei Talalaev called the 0-0 draw with Akhmat a fair result in the Russian Premier League's tenth round. He said Gil had arrived with a minor injury.
The teams met in Grozny on October 11. Speaking to Match TV, Talalaev described a difficult game with plenty of challenges and transitional play. He welcomed his team's clean sheet but regretted its failure to convert good scoring opportunities.
Talalaev described Gil as the team's main creator of chances. He brought on younger players to strengthen the attack and said they were progressing while competing to keep their places.
Baltika moved to 12 points after the match. Sport24 placed the Kaliningrad side seventh in the standings, with Akhmat eleventh on 11 points.
