Moscow region's Denis chatbot collects nearly 385,000 health complaints
The regional health ministry reported the cumulative figure since the start of the year. Symptom information enters patients' electronic medical records before appointments.
Moscow region Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Maxim Zabelin described the service on October 12. Residents can use the Denis chatbot on the Max messaging platform to book an appointment with a medical specialist.
Before booking, the system asks about the patient's condition. Users report symptoms such as fever, headache or weakness. The assistant asks follow-up questions when needed to clarify the information.
The details are then sent to the region's medical information system, and users are offered an appointment with an appropriate specialist. Zabelin said doctors can see the complaints in the electronic record before the consultation begins.
The nearly 385,000 figure counts complaints collected, according to the ministry. It does not establish the same number of unique patients or confirmed diagnoses. The announcement concerns gathering information for medical appointments, rather than treatment delivered independently by the system.
