Tarantino says script for tenth film is finished
Quentin Tarantino told The Graham Norton Show that he has written a script for his tenth film but is not yet moving ahead with filming.
The director said he wants to focus on his play first, then spend time with his family before deciding what to do next. Tarantino has long said he intends to retire from directing features after ten films.
His swashbuckling comedy The Popinjay Cavalier began as a film idea before becoming a stage play. Sacha Baron Cohen will star.
The production will open at London’s Phoenix Theatre next March, with performances scheduled through June 13.
Tarantino’s most recent film as director remains Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, released in 2019.
