TASS source attributes Cyrille Gassiline's death to heart failure

Designer Cyrille Gassiline died of heart failure, a source from his circle told TASS. The cause was reported on October 10.
Gassiline died in Moscow on October 4 at 47. Fashion historian Anatole Vovk announced his death on October 7. The new account of the cause rests on the agency's source, with no medical document included in the report.
He founded the womenswear label Cyrille Gassiline, and his clothes were exhibited at the Hermitage. Alongside fashion collections, he designed costumes for stage productions.
In 2005, he worked on Afternoon of a Faun and His Nymphs for the National Ballet of Tokyo. In 2018, he created costumes for I. S. Turgenev. Malek-Adel, presented at the Pushkin Museum. His career combined clothing design with work on theatrical characters.
