Telangana plans a support centre for micro, small and medium enterprises

Telangana is considering a centre of excellence for micro, small and medium enterprises, IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu said at an industry summit in Hyderabad.
The proposed centre would help companies adopt technology, develop investment links and reach new markets. The minister said it would focus on promoting goods made in the state across India and internationally.
Sridhar Babu spoke at the opening of the LUB MSME South India Summit, organised by Laghu Udyog Bharati. He highlighted the government's dedicated policy for supporting the MSME sector.
The government also plans a monthly grievance day for small businesses. The initiative would provide a forum to discuss problems and help resolve them.
The minister said work was underway to improve industrial estates in Hyderabad and surrounding areas. He urged firms to strengthen product quality, workforce skills and production capacity. The announcement did not specify an opening date or funding for the proposed centre.
