US President Donald Trump said he was willing to meet jointly with Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping if the Russian and Chinese leaders wanted to hold such talks.

Answering a question from reporters, Trump made his participation conditional on the other leaders' willingness. Vedomosti reported his remarks before his departure for Kansas, citing a DRM News broadcast.

Reuters reported that Trump suggested the talks could focus on denuclearization. AFP also reported that he named the war in Ukraine as a possible topic.
