Tsivileva says more than 15,000 troops received care under rehabilitation programme

More than 15,000 combatants have received treatment and rehabilitation through the Vozvrashcheniye programme, Russian Deputy Defence Minister Anna Tsivileva said on October 16.
Speaking at the twenty-eighth national conference on life support in critical conditions at the Rossiya Segodnya press centre, Tsivileva said the programme would continue. She said its work extends beyond neurological intensive care to subsequent treatment at rehabilitation resorts and outpatient follow-up.
The All-Russia People's Front and the Federal Scientific and Clinical Centre for Resuscitation and Rehabilitation have run the programme since 2023. Tsivileva also described medical teams that regularly travel to the war zone to provide surgical, neurosurgical, anaesthetic and intensive care.
Separately, the deputy minister said the People's Front had helped more than 325,000 people obtain specialist medical care at various institutions.
