Tver region allocates funds for district hospital equipment

The budget commission approved equipment upgrades for several hospitals, including an X-ray machine and refurbishment work for Bologoye hospital.
The decisions were taken on October 12 at a meeting chaired by Governor Vitaly Korolev, the regional press office said. Bologoye Central District Hospital received funding for an X-ray machine and specific inpatient-building repairs in 2027, including utility infrastructure.
X-ray machines are also planned for Likhoslavl and Rameshki hospitals. Bezhetsk hospital is to receive a CT scanner, while Torzhok is allocated a mobile digital mammography and fluorography unit.
The press office linked the choices to residents' needs discussed during the governor's municipal visits. Authorities expect the equipment to improve timely diagnosis.
The announcement concerns funding and procurement plans. It does not confirm delivery or commissioning. The amounts allocated and precise purchasing schedules were not disclosed.
