Moscow region hospitals receive 23 mobile X-ray units

Medical organisations in the Moscow region have received 23 mobile X-ray units worth about 180.9 million roubles since the start of 2026, the regional health ministry said on 9 October.

The equipment was distributed among 18 medical organisations, including hospitals in Serpukhov, Khimki, Stupino, Klin and Krasnogorsk. Health Minister Maxim Zabelin said two more units were planned for delivery before the end of the year.

The mobile systems are intended for patients with limited mobility in resuscitation, intensive care and trauma departments. They allow X-ray examinations at the bedside, without transporting the patient to a separate diagnostic room.

The equipment was purchased on Governor Andrey Vorobyov's instructions under the Long and Active Life national project. The ministry described the deliveries as part of continued hospital equipment provision. The 23 units are the total delivered since the start of the year, while the two additional units remain planned.
