Vikings elevate Beckham ahead of Saints game amid receiver injuries

The Minnesota Vikings elevated Odell Beckham Jr. from their practice squad on October 10 ahead of their game against the New Orleans Saints. Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison remain questionable because of injuries.

The club confirmed Beckham's elevation alongside receiver Jeshaun Jones. Sunday's game is in New Orleans on October 11. An elevation makes Beckham available for selection but does not guarantee that he will play.

Jefferson had limited practice participation because of an ankle injury. Addison missed Wednesday's session with a hamstring problem and was limited during the other practices. Neither receiver's questionable designation establishes that he will miss the game.

Beckham joined Minnesota this week, reuniting with Kevin O'Connell. The Vikings coach was offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, when Beckham helped the team win the Super Bowl.

In eight regular-season games that year, Beckham caught 27 passes for 305 yards and five touchdowns. He added 21 receptions for 288 yards in four postseason appearances.

His return to the New York Giants this season produced no targets or catches in three appearances. With Miami in 2024, he made nine catches for 55 yards. In 2023 with Baltimore, he recorded 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns across 14 games.
